Capital and Housing

Dear community,

The Capital & Housing department exists to deliver a broad list of services that keep the community of Tsay Keh Dene running and thriving. We are responsible for maintaining the capital infrastructure in addition to overseeing the housing program (which we are redeveloping to focus on the relationship between members, their current and future homes, and Band-led services).

Our department is always providing basic maintenance services and delivering projects that improve, maintain, and expand the community’s homes, buildings, and infrastructure (roads system, water delivery, septic tanks and fields, airport, as well as cemetery, lagoon, water tower). We also lead and support fire response, safety standards, emergency management, and energy planning.
